Workshop Overview: The Practical Airway Management Course, created by Dr. Richard Levitan, with his colleague Dr. Salim Rezaie, is an internationally recognized, intense, two-day offering with the specific goal of providing a comprehensive understanding of today’s effective airway management procedures and techniques. This offering accomplishes that goal with a unique focus on airway centric lectures, anatomy, state of the art imaging, and the unprecedented opportunity to practice a myriad of techniques (direct and video-assisted oral and nasal intubation, bronchoscopic assisted intubation, supraglottic usage, surgical airway management, as well as challenging patient presentations) on a large variety of consented, fresh, non-embalmed, human specimen within a laboratory setting designed for procedural instruction. The faculty engaged in this course focus on delivering best practice strategies and skills for adult and pediatric intubation to immediately enhance patient safety and your clinical airway acumen. *Military, Resident, and Group Discounts Available* Continuing Medical Education This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of The University of Texas at San Antonio and the Centre for Emergency Health Sciences. The University of Texas at San Antonio is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Texas at San Antonio designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
